How often should I get my rugs professionally cleaned?
Generally, rugs should be professionally deep cleaned every six to 12 months on average. The frequency may increase to every three to six months if your rug is made of delicate material such as silk, which requires more frequent treatment, as well as if you suffer from allergies or asthma to prevent allergen buildup.
However, this is just for regular cleaning and doesn’t include any emergency cleans you may need, such as if pet accidents happen or a spill (like red wine) is particularly bad.

Will my rug shrink during cleaning?
